If you were to ask me why I think God put me on this earth in one sentence I would say, “I am here to help others make their God-stories heard."
Romans 10:14 says “How, then, can they call on the one they have not believed in? And how can they believe in the one of whom they have not heard? And how can they hear without someone preaching to them?”
So, tell your story, sister. Share the goodness of the God who saved your life and changed your life. Shout His love. Tell of His mercy and grace that met you in your mess and turned it all around. You don’t have to be perfect to tell your story, in fact, you won’t be perfect. Your story doesn’t have to be like someone else’s in order for you to share it, how would we reach different people if our stories were all the same? Each of our life stories are so different, but they share a common theme which is that He makes beauty out of messes, even the messiest ones. He is the perfect author and finisher of what He begins. In the crazy, chaos, & beauty of it all, He is right there in the midst, putting all of the pieces together. Don’t stay silent, don’t keep it to yourself. Allow Him to speak through you and use your story to share of His goodness. Trust that He is working everything you have walked through together for His ultimate glory. He is an intentional God, He cares, He’s in every detail. Your story matters because of the One who is orchestrating the outcome. He has called and chosen you to be a voice of hope and to speak life into the darkness. Your story may lead to someone else’s freedom, share it for that reason.
