Broken Pieces

Jeremiah 16:14 (MSG)
"God, pick up the pieces.
Put me back together again.
You are my praise!"

This is one of those Bible Journals where you see a napkin or something that you want to use to journal and then look for the scripture to go with it. This is not my favorite way to Bible journal, usually, I find a scripture first, but I really did love the scripture that I found to go with this napkin.

I am so thankful that we serve a loving God that can pick up the broken pieces of our life and mend them. We all have them, whether created by someone else, situations beyond our control or our own doing. Aren't you glad that God can mend those hurts and put us back together? I praise Him today for His restoration and healing.

This reminded me of an Old Gospel Song we sang many years ago. I know I'm aging myself here. Anyone else remember this one?

Pick up the broken pieces, Trust in His holy Word;
He will put them back together And make your life complete.
Just place the broken pieces At the Saviour's feet!

You may feel that there's no hope Broken hearts just cannot mend;
Though you're torn in many pieces, Christ can make you whole again;
Storms of doubt blow all directions, But don't you be afraid.
God can make all corrections, He made a body out of clay!
