Fear Is A Liar
Zach Williams has written a song called "Fear is a Liar". It talks about the many fears that the enemy whispers in our ear. When we listen to these lies and start believing them it keeps us from trusting in God and believing the truth in His Word.
God's Word speaks alot about fear. The words, "fear not" or "do not be afraid" appear more than 300 times in the Bible.
One of my favorite verses that I have put to memory is Isaiah 41:10
"So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand."
I can't tell you how many times I have quoted that verse to remind myself that I don't need to be afraid. I can trust God!
Are there fears you are struggling with today? Is the enemy whispering words of discouragement? Recognize that this is the voice of the enemy and he is a liar! Give those fears to God. Realize that the Almighty God loves you and He will strengthen you and help you. Trust Him today!
