He is Faithful!

I memorized this scripture as a young teen, many, many years ago. I have never forgotten it. There is no way I could ever have known the many times God would bring it to mind, and I would need to put it into action. It was easier to memorize than live out, but all those times, when I have trusted Him, my life has been filled with peace. He has been faithful! It gets easier year after year, time after time, because I have seen His faithfulness, over and over, again and again. He is faithful! Even in the times I question, I wrestle, I struggle and then I remember not to worry, give it to Him and He proves once again that He can be trusted. He is faithful! I have now memorized verse 7, also. It has proven to be true. God is faithful, and I can rest in Him and have true inner peace.

Phillipians 4:6-7(NLT)

6 Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done.

7 Then you will experience God’s peace, which exceeds anything we can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus.
