 ...SOMETIMES I FEEL LIKE JOB IN THE BIBLE. I have had high points in my life and also many lows. Thru both the success of being on the Mountain peaks, and then the lows of addiction, in my life, somehow I had a Hope and Trust that God somehow cared about me. Maybe it was my heritage of being raised in Church as a Pastor's son, But I've known many people that lost hope and paid the ultimate price of not seeing the other side of a new day. Now, each morning as I pray and meditate and read my devotional books, I watch the birds as the sun is coming up. Each time I see the birds I am reminded of a scripture in Matthew 6. Jesus said...

"Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they?" Matthew 6:25-27

... I started taking pictures of hummingbirds because they fascinated me so much and the photography grew from there... I don't photograph birds. I photograph the way  they make me feel. Admittedly, it's a bit of a strange concept. But it's honest -and it's the best way to describe my pictures. I hope you enjoy them as much as I have and remember to look up in the sky, and say a BIG "THANK YOU GOD!"
